The log grapple with 1800 mm opening is ideal to withstand a maximum load of 35 kN (3500 kg) working at a maximum pressure of 250 bar (25 MPa). The weight of the grapple is 320 kg.
This grapple for its construction features, consists of 6 components, bolted together. The forks that take the log are all in ultra high strength steel and are joined and welded to a 70 mm diameter hot-pressed crankshaft.
